Pregnancy and New Parents Counselling for women, their partners and siblings both during pregnancy and also during the first year after birth.
Becoming parents is exciting but is also a major life transition and adjusting to the significant changes it can bring can cause fears, anxieties, worries and stress upon the family. Counselling can help work through these issues in a safe supportive and confidential environment.
Counselling can be very helpful to work through fears and anxieties where conception, pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period may be complicated or there are worries and concerns surrounding this.
I am also able to offer home visits both during the pre-natal and post-natal period to clients who are unable - for any reason - to attend the sessions outside their own environment.
I am an Accredited Counsellor with the BACP with extensive experience in working with Pregnancy related issues and am trained in working with individuals, couples, children and young people, and families in a variety of settings.
